Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below, we inform you about the processing of personal data in connection with the use of our website, inquiries, orders, and within the scope of our business relationships.

Our offering is exclusively directed at entrepreneurs as defined by § 14 BGB (German Civil Code). We do not enter into contracts with consumers. Within the scope of our business relationships, we primarily process data of contact persons, employees, representatives, and other contact individuals of our customers, suppliers, and business partners.

2. Hosting and Access Data

When you visit our website, technical access data is automatically processed by the hosting provider, including in particular your IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, browser information, operating system, referrer URL, and requesting provider. This processing is carried out to ensure trouble-free operation, system security, and technical administration of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We use Shopify for the operation of our online shop. Personal data may be processed in the course of hosting and shop provision.

3. Data Collection for Inquiries, Orders, and Customer Account

We collect personal data when you provide it to us in the context of an order, an inquiry, setting up a customer account, or other contact. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

This includes in particular:

  • Name, company, and contact details
  • Billing and delivery address
  • Email address and telephone number
  • Order, payment, and shipping data
  • VAT ID and other company-related information
  • Communication content

Depending on the item ordered, delivery may also be carried out by a supplier, manufacturer, fulfillment, or dropshipping partner commissioned by us.

The processing is carried out for handling your inquiry, for carrying out pre-contractual measures, for contract execution, and for maintaining the business relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

4. Data Disclosure

We only disclose personal data to the extent necessary for contract fulfillment, for compliance with legal obligations, for the protection of legitimate interests, or on the basis of your consent.

Recipients may include, in particular:

  • Shopify as a shop and hosting platform
  • ShipStation for shipping organization, shipping processing, and transmission of shipping and status information
  • UPS and DPD as shipping service providers
  • DATEV and Lexware for accounting, financial accounting, and commercial processes
  • MailerLite for newsletters and email communication
  • Payment service providers, banks, and IT service providers
  • Suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfillment and dropshipping partners, to the extent necessary for direct delivery of ordered goods

For the delivery of ordered goods and the processing of the shipping process, we transmit the necessary data to the shipping, fulfillment, and shipping management service providers we use. This includes in particular name, company, delivery address, email address, telephone number, order number, shipping information, and tracking data, to the extent that this information is necessary for the respective processing.

We use ShipStation for the organization and processing of shipping. Through ShipStation, transaction-related emails regarding order and shipping status can also be sent to customers, in particular shipping confirmations, tracking information, and delivery status notifications. Processing is carried out for contract fulfillment and for informing about the status of your order. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Individual items are sold by us, entirely or in part, within the framework of a dropshipping model. In these cases, we transmit the data necessary for contract execution and delivery to the respective supplier, manufacturer, or dropshipping partner, so that they can ship the goods directly to the orderer. Processing is carried out for contract fulfillment in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

For the physical delivery of goods, we transmit the necessary data to the respective commissioned shipping service provider, in particular UPS or DPD. The legal basis for this is also Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

For commercial administration, accounting, invoicing, tax documentation, and processing of business transactions, we use DATEV and Lexware. In particular, master data, invoice data, payment data, and booking data may be processed. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

5. Newsletter and Business Communication

We use MailerLite for newsletters and email campaigns. If you subscribe to our newsletter or receive business information from us, we process your contact data and usage data such as openings and clicks, insofar as these are technically recorded.

The sending is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or, where permissible, based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR within existing business relationships. You can object to receiving these communications at any time with effect for the future.

This is to be distinguished from transaction-related emails, in particular order confirmations, shipping confirmations, tracking notifications, and other information regarding the processing of your order. Such communications can also be sent via ShipStation. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Technically necessary cookies serve the secure and functional operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We only use analysis, tracking, and marketing cookies if consent is required for this and you have granted it via our consent tool. The legal basis is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke or adjust granted consent at any time with effect for the future.

7. Analytics and Marketing

We use the following services on our website and within our online communication:

  • Google Analytics for analyzing the use of our website
  • Google Ads for placing and evaluating advertisements
  • Facebook and Instagram for company presence, advertising, and reach measurement
  • LinkedIn for company presence, B2B communication, and advertising measures

In particular, usage data, device information, interaction data, page views, conversions, and technically transmitted data may be processed. If consent is required for this, processing is exclusively based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

8. Third Country Transfer

Within the scope of using individual services, personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, particularly to the USA. Such a transfer only takes place within the framework of legal requirements.

9. Storage Duration

We store personal data only as long as this is necessary for the respective purposes or legal retention periods exist. Subsequently, the data will be deleted or its processing restricted.
