Kalinat® – Potassium Bicarbonate for Fine Deacidification
Kalinat® is a high-quality potassium bicarbonate for the targeted fine deacidification of must, young wine, and wine. It enables rapid crystal separation and ensures the wine is quickly ready for bottling.
Deacidification with Kalinat® precipitates potassium bitartrate (tartaric acid salt). Crystal formation can be significantly accelerated by cooling or the contact process. This ensures that the deacidified wine is stable and ready for further processing in a short time.

Dosage
To deacidify by 1 g/L, 67 g of Kalinat® are required per 100 liters of must or wine. During application, ensure sufficient head space as CO₂ is released.
