Vinpur® Special – Gentle Tanning Removal with Casein & Cellulose

Vinpur® Specialty is a highly effective fining agent based on milk casein and cellulose for the selective and gentle reduction of troublesome tanning agents in wine.

The special production process produces a macroporous, easily wettable casein compound that achieves sensory improvements in color, clarity, smell and taste – without negative effects on extract or aroma content.

Vinpur® Special is particularly suitable as a last harmonization step before filling and ensures a clear, stable and balanced wine character.

Application & Dosage

• Recommended dosage: 5–60 g/100 L (preliminary test recommended)
• Sprinkle directly without pre-dissolution with vigorous stirring
• Stir intensively for 20-30 minutes
• Allow to settle for 2–3 hours, stir again and sediment overnight
• Filtration on the following day – treatment success immediately visible
