SIHA® pea protein – Vegan fining agent for must and wine

SIHA® pea protein is a vegan fining agent based on natural plant protein from peas. It is suitable for the clarification and stabilization of must, wine and fruit juice.

The product offers excellent treatment performance and is a modern alternative to animal fining agents. It is vegan, GMO-free and allergen-free according to VO 1169/2011.

Application

• Stir in 10 times the quantity of cold water
• Swell 4-6 hours
• Distribute homogeneous materials in the container
• Recommended dosage of wine: 10–30 g/hl
• Flotation: 5–20 g/hl
• Fruit juice: 10–30 g/hl

For optimization, the combination with bentonite may be recommended. Kieselsol should be dosed last.
