The Seitz/Pall layer filter plates stand for reliable and professional filtration in the wine cellar. Depending on the filtration target, the variables are K700, K200, K100 and EK available – from rough clarification to safety filtration before bottling.

Available Variants & Application areas

K700 – Ground clarification / prefiltration

• For strong wines or musts
• High flow rate
• Ideal after fermentation or with lots of yeast
• Relieved fine filter plates downstream

K200 – medium clarification / standard filtration

• All-round plate for basement filtration
• Good balance between clarification performance and service life
• Ideal before fine or filling filtration

K100 – fine filtration / brilliant filtration

• Very high purification efficiency
• For already well-pre-clarified wines
• Optimal shortly before filling

EC – Safety / Disinfection Filtration

• Maximum filtration safety
• Reduction of microbiological load
• Ideal as a safety level before filling
• Requires well-pre-clarified wine
