The Sealing discs for blind caps ensure safe and hygienic sealing of tank connections, cellar fittings and piping systems in professional wine cellar. They are ideal for blind nuts, closure caps and various wine-industry threads and DIN 11851 dairy coupling.

In various embodiments, the seals are composed of SBR or NBR available and meet the requirements of FDA and the EC 1935/2004 for food contact.

Depending on the application area and medium, different sizes and materials are available.

Difference Between SBR and NBR

SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) is particularly suitable for general applications with water and non-oil-containing media. The material offers good elasticity and abrasion resistance.

NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) In addition, it has a high resistance to oils, fats and many chemical media. This is why NBR is often used in professional cellar technology as well as in food and beverage production.
