Neoanticid®

Neoanticid® – special lime for double salt deacidification of must and wine

Neoanticid® is a specially selected, chemically pure calcium carbonate (E170) for professional double salt deacidification. It allows the simultaneous reduction of apple and tartaric acid and ensures a harmonious acid structure in the wine.

Due to the targeted partial acidification and subsequent back-dilution, the tartaric acid is retained in the non-deacidified portion while malic acid is effectively reduced. This results in a sensorily balanced acid harmony.

Dosage

• 67 g per 100 l to reduce 1 g/l of total acid
• Mix with must or wine before use
• After 5-15 minutes stirring time, Trub is separated off
• Subsequently, backwashing is carried out
