Metavin® Opti – long-term protection against tartaric failure

Metavin® Opti is an optimally esterified metatartaric acid on the sustainable prevention of tartaric excretion (potassium hydrogen tartrate) in wine. Due to the particularly stable internal esterification, the product offers a significantly prolonged protective effect compared to conventional metatartaric acids.

Metavin® Opti reliably inhibits the crystallization of Weinstein and ensures a stable, clear bottling – even with hot filling. The special macromolecule structure ensures a long-term Crystal stability with constant product quality.

Dosage & Application

• Recommended and maximum permitted quantity: 10 g / 100 L wine
• Stir in about 20 times the quantity of wine
• Admit 3–4 days before filling
• Prior thorough protein stabilisation (e.g. bentonite) recommended
