LALVIN® ICV SunRose TM
LALVIN® ICV SunRoseTM YSEO – Special yeast for aromatic rosé wines
LALVIN® ICV SunRoseTM YSEO is a dry pure breeding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) specially selected for rosé wine production. Developed by Lallemand and the Institut Coopératif du Vin (ICV) in Montpellier, it promotes intensive and stable berry aromas.
The yeast strain forms pronounced currant and raspberry aromas and is particularly suitable for juice rosé wines. The moderate fermentation rate and the low formation of volatile acid provide elegant, finely divided rosé wines.
