LALVIN® GO-FERM – Yeast nutrient for the rehydration of pure dry yeast

LALVIN® GO-FERM is a special yeast nutrient for optimal rehydration of pure dry yeasts. The preparation from inactive yeasts provides the yeast already before fermentation with important vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Through use in the rehydration phase, cell vitality is significantly improved and the proportion of active yeast cells is increased over the entire fermentation process.

Application

LALVIN® GO-FERM is dissolved in water at 40° C. before the rehydrogenation and subsequently mixed with the must in a ratio of 50:50. The optimum mixing temperature is 30–35°C.

Recommended dose: 30–50 g/hl depending on the fermentation conditions.

Important: LALVIN® GO-FERM does not replace nitrogen additions during fermentation, but supports the dry yeast used in a targeted manner.

Ideal for the rehydration of dry cultivated yeasts during winemaking and during difficult or stuck fermentations.
