GrapeGuard® – Plant tonics for protection against UV radiation

GrapeGuard® is a plant tonic based on selected clay minerals for protecting vines and plants from intense UV radiation. Through its reflective and absorbent properties, it protects leaves and fruits from UV-related damage.

The product is applied to the entire foliage wall and forms a protective layer there. In addition to protection against UV radiation, GrapeGuard® can also reduce the water consumption of the plant.

Application

• Enter the entire foliage wall

Dosage

• 10 – 20 kg per hectare per treatment
• Typically up to three applications per growing season
• Further applications possible as required

Preparation of the spray solution

• Suspend the product in 5 – 10 parts of water
• Pre-swell 10 kg of product in 50 – 100 L of water
• Let the approach swell about 10 – 12 hours
• Stirring again before use
