BECOLITE® 5000 – Coarse Perlite for high-performance precipitation filtration

BECOLITE® 5000 is a coarse, high-purity filtration pearl for the economical precoating filtration of highly clouded liquids. It is ideal for wine, beer, fruit juices, sugar solutions, oil, starch, gelatin and other applications in the beverage and food industry.

The Perlite is obtained from natural volcanic glass and expanded by shock-like heating. Precise grinding and screening results in a defined particle size with a particularly high wet volume and a high trunk pick-up capacity.

Application

BECOLITE® 5000 can be used as a base suspension or in continuous dosage. The metering is governed by the twist load and the desired clarification performance. A combination with BECOGUR® kieselguhr or BECOCEL® filter celluloses is possible.
